I knew Sugar as a fellow busker around Picadilly, London in the nineties. The drawing turned up in a loft in Wales a few years ago. A friend had minded it and other works after I had disappeared and left for Ireland.

The Fiona Tree
I bought a one way ticket in Swansea and sailed to Ireland. When I arrived I had nothing to show of my work because I had forgotten my suitcase filled with note books, drawings, photographs and sentimental things.
I did have my flute and a bag of oil paints with me though and when I was settled in Cork City, I purchased a stretched canvas and painted a signature piece.
